Rules and regulations
THE BASICS
1. 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
2. Only ONE BRACKET (ALL AGES)
3. DOUBLE ELIMINATION
4. $1,000 Grand Prize
5. Five-person total on each team (two reserves)
6. Games are up to 11 points or whoever is leading after 10-Minutes
7. Game clock will run continuously until end of game
8. After a successful score, the opposing team will take possession
9. Each bucket is worth 1 point, NO TWO POINTERS
10. If tied, next basket wins in overtime
11. Each player must wear a shirt
12. No cursing or disrespecting referees or ANYONE ELSE
13. After first warning, next the team will be disqualified
14. Each team will have a 5-minute grace period to start the game or will be disqualified
15. Teams will "Take the Ball Back" behind the free throw line whenever there is a change in possession
16. Ball must be passed in when “Checking it Up”.
17. Each team will be allowed one, 45-second time out per game
18. No timeouts can be taken when less than 1-min in game
19. Substitutions can only be made during a dead-ball or time out
20. Initial possession decided by coin toss
21. No Stalling. Teams cannot run the clock. The Ball can only sit for Ten (10) seconds
22. If any player commits more than Two (2) flagrant fouls during tournament, that team will be disqualified
23. There are no free throws. Opposing team will take possession of the ball after a foul is called
24. Players will foul out of the game after 3 fouls.
25. Absolutely no smoking or alcohol in the gym. If smoking or alcohol is found, team will be disqualified.
NOTE
Referees and security will be onsite. ALL RULES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
